light had faded
dark was coming
i was tired
from all the running
the door
slammed shut
and i was ready
to just give up
no reason
for me
none that i
could see
there was nothing
for me to believe in
in this world
full of sin
then you found me
made me stand
lifted me up
and took my hand
and that was when
i knew
everything would be alright
because i was with you
